Day 2

After breakfast meeting with the local guide. Your day will start with magnificent cup of coffee in the oldest coffee shop in Zagreb situated on the main square overlooking the statue of Ban Jelacic. Croatians are very sensitive about the coffee and coffee drinking in local coffee shops is part of the culture. After morning relaxation you will take a walk with your local guide and start exploring Zagreb. Guide will tell you all the interesting stories about the city and give you recommendations and main attractions of the city which you can later use for self exploration. With an eclectic mix of the Central European and Mediterranean lifestyles, Zagreb pairs well the Austro Hungarian tradition and the warm Southern flavor. The most important cultural institutions in Zagreb and many hotels, of which a large part is within the international hotel chains, are located in the pedestrian area which is - when time permits - probably Europe's largest outdoor café. There are also other attractions such as the picturesque open-air market - one of the last in Europe, which is absolutely first-class experience for all who are coming to Zagreb. For dinner we are taking you to the oldest restaurant in Zagreb. The restaurant that was catering food for many politicians, actors and other famous people who ever traveled to Zagreb. The restaurant has a menu with dishes prepared from receits that are dating from 15th and 16th century. The owner will also hold the presentation of each dish as it will be served and paired well with best local wine. Overnight in Zagreb.

Day 3

After breakfast departure to the region Croatian Zagorje, an area of chocolate-box enchantment: miniature wooded hills are crowned with the castles they seem designed for, and streams tumble through lush vineyards. Visit castle Trakoscan with a local guide to experience the way of life during the past in the area. Castle Trakošćan's cultural heritage, is protected as a historical entity, which consists of the castle, the building next to the castle, park and forest park with a lake. Today the castle is one of the few facilities in Croatia with preserved its own constitution, historically closely related to the architectural framework and the life of its owners. After the Trakoscan castle, continue to a local farm for a farm to table food. After dinner return back to Zagreb. Overnight in Zagreb. * Possible to arrange a cooking class at a local farm! Overnight in Zagreb.

Take a walk with a local guide through this heaven on earth. Enjoy scenery of beautiful waterfalls and untouched nature. And don’t forget to make a wish under the largest waterfall as it is supposedly making your wishes come true. Explore the park with a local guide. After the visit we will have late lunch in local restaurant and depart further to Rovinj. Hotel check-in and overnight in Rovinj

It is three thousand years old, a city of old, tumultuous and dynamic history, often destructed, looted, devastated, every time emerging from the ruins stronger, richer and more beautiful. Zadar appeared for the first time in history in the 4th century B.C. as a settlement of the Illyrian tribe of Liburnians. Hotel check and afternoon sightseeing of the city. Visit sea organs - an experimental musical instrument made out of the stone, which plays along with sea waves. In Zadar you will explore The St. Donat’s Church, Museum of Ancient Glass (not include in price), and small ancient street from the Roman times. This archipelago consists of 140 islands covering an area of 114 square miles (300 square km), with most of it declared a National Park – and with its natural beauty, numerous coves and crystal clear blue waters, it’s easy to see why. Hvar is the longest island in central Dalmatia and in front of its western part a group of 17 small islands called Pakleni islands is positioned there. It is located between the islands of Brač, Vis and Korčula in addition to peninsula Pelješac. Hvar is considered to be the warmest and sunniest place in Croatia with 2,718 sunny hours per year. Inhabited since the Stone Age it is not surprising that Hvar is rich with sites. Out of numerous cultural and historic monuments most prominent place is given to a municipal theatre building in Central Square. Built in 1612. Theatre is one of the oldest in this part of Europe. After sightseeing of Hvar we will be sailing around Pakleni islands for beautiful sceneries and possibly optional swim. After, we will return back to Split. Overnight in Split.

Day 10

After breakfast proceed to Dubrovnik. On the way to Dubrovnik stop in Ston. The under-visited Ston and its neighbor Mali Ston on the Peljesac peninsula are a great escape from the standard southern Dalmatia tourist route. About 59km northwest of Dubrovnik, there are no big resorts or luxury hotels in Ston but there is great eating, great scenery, old stone houses and the longest fortifications in Europe. It's not the place for a beach holiday but there's plenty to see and the small-town atmosphere is enchanting.
